Inspired by "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire", a pop song written in 1938. Covered by several musicians and groups like Horace Heidt, The Ink Spots or Vera Lynn, it reached number one on the US pop chart. The song, with its lyrics starting with "I don't want to set the world on fire/ I just want to start a flame in your heart..." became especially popular after the attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941. It is also oftenly featured in the Fallout series, from Bethesda.
